Every wonderful design in our collection is made from nature’s favourite materials and we are very selective about where and how every sourced material is produced. That is why our furniture pieces are made by hand at some of Europe’s finest manufacturers and are rigorously tested in collaboration with Bureau Veritas in Germany, the world’s leading quality certification agency.

​We collaborate with a brilliant stable of world-renowned, international designers – both from upcoming, vibrant talents to established design studios.  And no matter in what part of the world our designers live and breathe, they all share the same passion for Scandinavian design, natural materials and sustainable creations and (proud) to be part of writing the next chapter for Scandinavian Design.”

Wherever we choose to put down our roots, we enhance our experiences if we take the time to engage in life around us. We become intimate with the subtle changes through time, the gradual developments of streetscapes, the changing of seasons and learn to connect with our surroundings. To do so, is to live in harmony with our environment, making our lives richer and our general wellbeing fuller.  
 
Spending time in the great outdoors is good not just for our physical bodies, but also for the soul. It reduces stress and creates a deeply embedded sense of intrinsic belonging. Wholistic living, living sustainably both enhances our lives but also helps us to feel more connected to the world at large. For our Clients, we have always been advocates of the suggestion that buying the highest quality products their budgets will allow is by far better than buying more products of a subordinate kind. This is sustainability at an honest level.  In a wider context, sustainability supports our local communities, the environment we live in. In Scandinavia that environment is nature, a natural tonic to daily living.

BOLIA’s use of natural and sustainable materials, help to limit our ecological footprint as well as connecting us to the wonderful landscape of silent forests and nature’s tones.  Everyday Luxury - capturing some of the most beautifully crafted forms in objects and furniture we have found.
